Who we are

Euro Renovations (operating as EuroRenos, formerly ISM Renobuilders) is a renovation company based at 290 Traders Blvd E, Unit 7, Mississauga, Ontario L4Z 1W7. You can reach us on 905-645-0235.

This policy applies to every page on this site — the kitchen cost calculator, the enquiry forms, and the pages you can read without submitting anything. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Details about your kitchen — size, shape, finish, countertop, layout and scope. This is what the estimate is calculated from.
Contact details you give us — your name and email address, and your phone number and preferred timeline if you choose to provide them.
How you reached us — the advertising campaign or search that brought you here, including Google and Meta click identifiers, and the page you landed on.
Basic technical information — your browser's user-agent string, your approximate location from your IP address, and your device type.
How you use the pages — which pages you open, how far down them you scroll, what you click, how long you stay, and how you move through the calculator and the enquiry form. This is collected from the moment you arrive, not only when you submit something.
Session recordings — our analytics provider may record a playback of your visit, reconstructed from those same movements and clicks, so we can see where people get stuck. What you type into form fields is masked before it leaves your browser.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, financial details, government identifiers or any sensitive personal information through this site.

Partial submissions

Your answers are saved as you move through the calculator, before you reach the contact step. If you leave partway through, we retain those answers along with the campaign information above — but with no contact details, they are not linked to you personally and we have no way to contact you.

Why we use it

To calculate your estimate and show it to you.
To email you a copy of that estimate.
To follow up about your renovation project, if you asked us to.
To measure which advertising is working, so we spend the budget sensibly.

For the details you send us, we rely on your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time — see below.

For the measurement described above — which pages are opened, how far they are read, and the session recordings — we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding whether this website works, because that measurement necessarily begins when you arrive rather than when you submit anything. With one exception, it is not used to build a profile of you for advertising, and you can switch it off: see Cookies and tracking below. The exception is our own remarketing, described there — Google may use the fact that you visited this site to show you our ads later. It is our ads only; we never share your visit with anyone else for their advertising.

To measure which of our ads lead to real projects, and to stop showing ads to people who are already our customers, we may share your email address or phone number with Google in a scrambled (hashed) form. Google uses it only to match it against its own accounts for us, and does not keep it for any other purpose.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site:

Supabase — stores the submissions. Data is held in the United States.
Resend — delivers the estimate email to you and the alert to our team.
Zapier — passes your enquiry into the customer records system our team works from, so your request reaches a person rather than sitting in a database. Data is held in the United States.
Vercel — hosts the website.
Google — Google Analytics measures how this page is used, and Google Ads receives conversion signals so we can tell which advertising actually works. When you send us an enquiry, the name, email address, phone number and postal code you entered are also included with that conversion signal so Google can match it to the advertising click it came from. They are irreversibly hashed in your browser before they are sent — Google receives the scrambled values, never the details themselves, and they cannot be turned back into you. Google also records that your browser visited this site so that our own advertising can be shown to you afterwards on other Google surfaces — search, websites that carry Google ads, YouTube, Gmail and the Discover feed. See Interest-based advertising below for how to turn that off.
Meta — receives conversion signals for the same reason. Where an email or phone number is involved, it is irreversibly hashed before it is sent.
PostHog — measures how the pages are actually used: which ones get opened, how far people read, what they click, where they abandon the calculator or the enquiry form, and the session recordings described above. This runs from the moment you arrive. Data is held in the United States. What you type into form fields is masked before it leaves your browser.
ClickCease — checks whether the clicks we pay for on Google Ads are real people. To do that it records your IP address, the type of device and browser you are using, and how you behave on the page in the first few seconds. It runs on every page as soon as you arrive, and it runs whether or not you came from an advertisement, because a monitor that only watched advertising traffic could not tell you what normal traffic looks like. We use it to get refunds for fraudulent clicks and to block the sources they come from — not to identify you, and not for marketing. Data is held outside Canada.
YouTube and Instagram — host the videos on this page. Nothing is requested from either of them, and no cookies are set, until you press play on a video. If you never play one, they never learn you were here.

Because some of these providers store data outside Canada, your information may be subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access requests by foreign authorities.

How long we keep it

Completed enquiries are kept for up to seven years, so we can honour warranty obligations and meet record-keeping requirements. Partial submissions with no contact details are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Usage measurement and session recordings are kept for a shorter period and then expire automatically — they exist to tell us whether a page is working, which is a question that goes stale quickly.

How we protect it

Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in a database that is not readable from the browser. Access is restricted to staff who need it to prepare your quote.

Cookies and tracking

The calculator stores your answers in your browser's session storage so a refresh does not lose your progress; that clears when you close the tab.

Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies to measure visits and to connect an advertising click to an enquiry, and Meta may do the same. PostHog sets a cookie to recognise the same browser across pages, which is what lets us tell one person reading four pages from four people reading one.

You can block all of these in your browser settings without affecting the site — the estimate and the enquiry form work either way. PostHog and Google Analytics also honour your browser's “Do Not Track” setting where it is switched on.

Interest-based advertising

We use Google's remarketing and audience features to show our own advertising to people who have visited this site, on Google Search, on websites and apps that carry Google ads, and on YouTube, Gmail and the Discover feed. What Google stores for this is the fact that your browser visited pages here — not your name, and not anything you typed. To opt out, use Google's own control at adssettings.google.com (switch off ad personalisation), or the Canadian industry opt-out at youradchoices.ca. Blocking cookies in your browser also prevents it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to further contact. Call or write to us using the details below and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
