What was involved in this Mississauga kitchen?

Taken back to the studs, with the wall to the next room removed and a beam put in so the kitchen could run the length of the windows. White flat-panel cabinetry, a navy fluted island with a marble waterfall top, brass hardware and a full-height marble backsplash, on new pale oak flooring. Five weeks on site. The photographs below show the same room before we started, part-way through, and on the day it was handed back — which is the only way an “after” picture means anything.
