What does a basement renovation involve?

A finished basement is framing, structure, plumbing, electrical, usually a bathroom, then flooring and finishing — sequenced in one space, which is why it takes two to three weeks on site rather than months. The estimate starts with a measure, a floor plan and a 3D sketch of the finished space, then an itemised price based on square footage, so you see the layout before you commit to it. Design, permits, construction and final inspection are handled in-house.
